The Beaver Challenge is for cubs to participate in on the Saturday while the scouts are rafting...

The Olympic Games - 25th May 2012

The organisers of Kontiki comandeered our hall so we journeyed to 6th Benoni for a Joint Meeting.
The theme of the meeting was "The Olympic Games"
After Grand Howl the flame was lit and teams selected!

The first game was throwing the rings - each cub had 2 turns to get it over a post.

It was then on into the snow and we had 5 cubs on a pair of ski's - trying their best to co-ordinate their feet forward!

Kreolin was the director of this group - doing a great job!
Cubs then had to do the Hoola Hoop chase - holding hands and moving a hoola hoop around the circle.

.... and lastly on to the obstacle course - carry a tray of cups, shoot a dart, tie a reef know and pop a balloon!!

Everyone did so well they all deserved medals!
Well done!

Thanks to 6th Benoni for having us visit - we will soon have you over to our hall.
