Jungle Book - Meeting Mowgli - 13th April 2007

Our theme this term is the Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling. After a quick run-around game, we settled the cubs down to listen to the first part of this very exciting story.

In order to help the Cubs remember who's who in the zoo, we played a mix and match relay game whereby a picture of a Jungle Book character and the correct name had to be matched.

As part of the Advancement, here you see the Leopards doing some knotting.....

...... and success at last!

Being in the jungle we needed to make sure that all the birds were fed ........

.... and the Lions made these stunning feeders.

Our programmes so so jam-packed with fun and adventure that we decided to join Mowgli in the jungle. Now you have to understand that to be in the jungle you have to go in disguise..... and what better way than to go as a Wolf Cub!
Here we have two of our Pack Helpers tracing wolf cub masks.

and I am sure that Mowgli, Baloo and Akela would never have noticed any of our darling cubs creeping around the jungle! Do you?

Aren't they just precious?
Till next time
Keep cubbing
Akela Joy
