Today we learnt all about fire safety in anticipation for our trip to the Fire Station next week!
waiting patiently for the next instruction....
As far as dangers are concerned, everyone has to be very carefull not to fall down a well, or a drainpipe...
Our firs game was almost a tug - o - war where anyone pulled into the circle was "down the well"...
cubs LOVE tug-o-war!
and into the well they fell!
Instruction saw the caracals learning about keeping tidy!
The leopards did some knotting
and then it was on to make our Emergency Kits.
and whilst on a hike one of the scouts had dropped all the goodies out of his back sack - the cubs had to go and look what had dropped, remember everything and relate.
they all had very good memories!
and then some fire safety tips
and how to strike a match the correct way....
but most importantly - cubs also love to light a candle....
