This is a photo especially for Michael de Sousa!
Michael, this is to say hello from all the cubs at 9th Benoni and we are all wishing you a speedy recovery from your heart operation. We want to see you back at cubs soon!
We had fun this week and this was our first relay game.
Each team was given 2 staves and a piece of rope. The task was to get 1 of their members across the field to a designated point.
They thought, chatted and finally came up with a plan!

.... which finally worked for them....
.... but most of all, they had fun!....
Balloons! which cub can resist playing with water balloons!
Standing opposite each other, balloons were thrown to a partner. On the blow of a whistle, each cub had to take a step backwards and continue throwing the balloon to their partner. If the balloon fell or burst, they were out.

Hi Joy,
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog and it seems like your Pack have a great time. I especially liked your recent post about going on safari.
It makes me smile to see your Cubs still have their caps! While we had them in the UK when I was a kid, they've been dumped for a while!
All the best
