Wriggly Worms - 29 August 2008

Friday's meeting was all about having fun and more fun!

Our first game started by taking pictures of "wriggly worms", cutting them in half and hiding one half. The cubs were given the other half and asked to go and look all around the playground to find their partners!

Searching for their "wriggly worms"

Next, we did a bit of handcraft - and made our very own "wriggly worms"

Working hard and cutting out their apples!

We took a picture of an apple, cut a small, circular hole in it at the top of one side. (big enough for a cub's finger to fit through), pasted it onto cardboard - for strength - and once again cut a the hole out so their finger could fit through...... and as you can see, they all have wriggly worms in their apples!
We played a game where everyone stands in a circle and each cub is given a name - today we used the names "wriggly worms", "tape worms" "garden worms." When 1 of the names are called out, only those cubs run around the circle, back to their place and into the centre and see what awaits them! This very lucky, young cub managed to do very well and score 4 suckers! Well done!
Till next Time
Keep Cubbing
