I want to do - 2nd September 2011

Cubs always "want to do" - so that was what our theme was for the week.

Over the pas year we have been collecting "funny money" for a worthy cause. This year the money will go towards 6 "Santa Shoeboxes"
Each shoebox has items in that are useful - clothing, stationery, toiletries, sweets etc. These are then handed to a company who collects and distributes to worthy institutions. We have nominated KidsHaven in Benoni.
Thank you once again to all our Cubs for continuing to bring your money each and every week.

We started off with a quick Steam Release game - divided the cubs into 2 teams - each with different colour wool in their belt. On 'go' they had to try and retrieve someone else wool.

Having great fun!

It is always important to "do your best"

The cubs listened to a yarn about doing your best.

and then it was on to a Circle Game to see who could run the fastest - and even our Mother Helpers got involved!

Our cubs love playacting - they are such little clowns!

Each Six was giving something to prepare and then we all had to guess....

Preparing

driving down to the seaside

hanging up washing

getting ready for school

grocery shopping - note the shopping trolley!

washing windows

baking

After Instruction and a few other games we managed to go fishing!

We also welcomed 2 new chums into the pack this week - so welcome to Jessica and Caelen.

Till next Time

Keep Cubbing
