It was time for the cubs to meet the scouts and have some real "scout fun"!
The meeting was held a little later than usual and for the cubs it became a "night meeting"!
The cubs were divided among the Patrols.....
.... and the fun began!
The first game was called "mounted reef knot relay" Cubs had to climb on scouts back - run to the campfire - tie a reef knot - then run back and tag the next cub.
It was then time to do some footprint painting whilst everyone learnt each others name.
The next activity was to retrieve a bucket from the centre of a circle using the provided equipment. The scouts could tie the knots but only the cubs could retrieve the bucket.

Thanks to the scouts for having the cubs to visit.... they had an awesome time!
We'll do it again ..... soon!
