Bubblegum on my Cowboy Spurs - 7th May 2010

It was time for "cowboy country" and each cub had to ride their imaginery horse and on the blow of the whistle stop dead still.

.... and of course our cubs can stand still for 2 minutes! .....

It was then on to feeding our cowboys.
In relay formation each cub came up and put a baked bean onto a toothpick, ran back and fed the next cub in line!

Well, for a start, a don't think many cubs have eaten baked beans!

They were not too keen but they nevertheless completed the game!

.... and what would a cowboy be without his hat.....

step by step instructions were given.....

and there we have our bunch of cowboys..

out on the range they tried to shoot with great success!

and then they needed to light their campfire and sing songs.
Cubs were taught how to light a match properly.

and of course lighting sparklers added to the fun!

Birthday celebrations for Quentin.... congratulations... and thanks for the cupcakes!
Till next Time
Keep Cubbing
