Air-charge Course - 26th March 2011

"Chicken or Beef..... Chicken or Beef..... Chicken or Beef"

These were our airhosts for the day!

Must admit the service was not great - they seemed half dead!

As everyone knows, when one becomes a Scout Leader training is a continual thing. Many training courses are offered each and every year .... and the Air Charge being one of them.

The venue was the magnificent SAA Boeing 747-244B Lebombo which is now stationed at the Rand Airport Museum. This is the very same Jumbo that made that epic swoop over Ellis Park on the 24th June 1995 at the Rugby World Cup Final between South Africa and New Zealand with the words "Good Luck Bokke" under its wings.
A visit to see all the helicopters was also in store...

... listening to all the safety rules ...

.... a girl's dream ....

..... boy's toys! .....

A hanger full of acrobatic aircraft!

A great day in all ..

Till next Time

Keep Cubbing
