Conquering Rome - 4th March 2011

Friends, Romans and Countrymen - lend me your ears!

Conquering the Romans was our theme today at the Pack and we had some great fun....

playing "stuck in the molten lava" (stuck in the mud)We were sure the romans were on their way and, as usual, we knew we had to "be prepared"

We faught the Romans "tooth and nail"
and had fabulous fun doing it!

The "long and the short" of it all....

ably assisted by Akela

Just look at that face!

... and this one too!

Cubs making their Laurel Wreaths - getting ready for "speakers corner"

When everyone had their head gear on, they were given Marie Biscuits to eat and whilst their mouth was still full, they had to try and say their name!
Hysterical!

Togo Races in relay

(Just look how excited Akela is in the background - she is actually in the air!!)

Caracal Instruction this week was The Jungle Book.
We first of all "memorised" the names of all the animals and then played a memory game.

Water is a much needed commodity and here the cubs played the game whereby a cup is collected and passed over and under the cubs. Six with the most water wins.

Till next time
Keep Cubbing

PS: Kontiki tomorrow!
